This was the last game of the season and it turns out, a very pivotal one. With a win they will come from behind and tie the Chicago Cubs for NL-Central Division first place and force a one game playoff tomorrow.
Jake, Kathryn and I drove up to Milwaukee to do some tailgating and catch a Brewers game. Tom and Deb have season tickets and were able to secure about 20 seats for us and Kathryn's family to sit in the same section. I don't remember the section but the seats were great. We all met up before the game and caravanned to the parking lot for some good old fashioned tailgating. Fun!
Was a fun day of tailgating and watching the Brewers clobber Detroit to force the one game playoff with the Cubs. Which they won, giving them sole possession of first place, a bye in the Wild Card round and home field advantage for both the Division and Conference finals.
The Brewers did have a great late season run. Beating out the Cubs, then sweeping Colorado in the Division Series and making it to game seven of the NLCS which they unfortunately lost to the LA Dodgers.
