The Build - Sep, 2020

This model was fun to build and pretty challenging (level 5 difficulty). Most of the pieces fit together well and most had good registration. I used enamel paints and gorilla super glue gel. Only a couple of build pictures, the others did not look very good. I took a picture of the decal sheet, look at the hundreds of tiny decals. I probably used over a hundred of the them but, skipped the smallest ones.

Old and New

F-15E

I like this picture. Reminds me of last year at the Oshkosh EAA show, WWII vintage and a newer jet. Consider the B-24 with a crew of 8-10 and typical bomb load of 5000lbs vs the 2 man crew and an Ordnance load of up to 23,000lbs including nuclear on the F15.
