Painting

Painting is my favorite part of the build. I use an air brush for the big parts. Unfortunately, some of the most detailed painting are for parts that are not visible once the model is fully assembled. That's why I am adding some pictures before assembly.

Assembly

This model is the best constructed I have built so far. Everything fit together really well and very detailed instructions. Lots of fun.

Decals

I made the mistake of adding the really small decals to the unassembled pieces while they were still on the trees. Makes it easier to place them but, I found I had to do some paint touch up and with the decals on the wings, etc. made it impractical. So, in the future, decals at the end. I really like the big, bold decals which really make the model but, the tiny decals get rather tedious. The smallest ones I tend to leave off since you cannot even see them on the finished model.
